Dr Yashna Rampursat is a graduate of the Nelson R Mandela School of Medicine, University of Kwa Zulu-Natal (UKZN) in Durban, South Africa. She completed her chemical pathology training at the National Health laboratory services (NHLS) and UKZN, where she also served as a lecturer. After 8 years in the state pathology sector, and four years in private pathology, she emigrated to Australia. She completed one year of supervisedtraining at Queensland Medical Laboratory (QML) and joined Laverty in 2025 after obtaining the FRCPA qualification.
Her main fields of interest are endocrinology, paediatric clinical biochemistry and toxicology
