Dr Punita Rao graduated in Medicine from Kuvempu University India, followed by Diplomate of National Board (Pathology) India. She then completed training in Histopathology in February 2018, at the St James University Hospital of Leeds, United Kingdom. Following this she worked in Consultant capacity in the Calderdale Hospital Halifax UK. She then migrated to Australia in 2019, where she joined QML as Consultant Pathologist in 2021, and successfully completed the requirements to obtain FRCPA. At QML she was reporting Breast, Dermatopathology and Cytology. Dr Rao is enthusiastic in pursuing her specialist interest in Dermatopathology.
