I have a seen a doctor, what next?

If your doctor has given you a request form, bring it with you to one of our COVID-19 testing locations.

If your doctor has emailed you a request form, print the request form and bring it with you to one of our COVID-19 testing locations.

Who can be tested, and where?

Children of all ages can be tested at our drive-through locations.

Drive-through locations can only be attended by vehicle, we cannot accept foot traffic.

Walk in patients must attend a dedicated COVID-19 collection centre.

Getting Results

If you would like your results sent to you via SMS, please read our Patient Results by SMS for more information.

After your test

As per public health guidelines, patients are required to self isolate until a negative result is received. Patients should be advised by their GP regarding release from isolation.

COVID-19 Testing for Travel

Countries, airlines and cruise lines around the world now require a negative COVID-19 PCR test result before travel.

Visit our COVID-19 pre-travel test site. Please note, no Medicare rebate is available for COVID-19 travel testing.

Travel to China

People travelling to China must undertake COVID-19 PCR and COVID-19 IgM testing prior to departure.

Travellers can visit our pre-travel test site to pay for their test and present at our central laboratory in Murarrie for testing:

COVID-19 Testing for Travel

As more countries, airlines, and cruise lines require a negative COVID-19 PCR test result as a pre-requisite for boarding and entry, QML Pathology is able to facilitate this for passengers who require a pre-departure COVID-19 test.
Passengers will be provided with a PDF copy of their results via email to use as evidence for travel.
