A graduate of the University of Queensland, Dr Adkins received his MBBS in 1981. After working
at the Royal Brisbane and QEII Hospitals, Dr Adkins completed his pathology registrar training
in 1989.
Joining QML Pathology in 1990, Dr Adkins became a Consultant Pathologist at the Buderim Laboratory, providing pathology services across the Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay regions. He was also Medical Supervisor to the Kingaroy Laboratory for many years, and the Pathologist in Charge of the Buderim Laboratory.
Special Interests: General surgical pathology.
