- 1966 - Graduated from The University of Queensland
- Trained in pathology at the Royal Brisbane Hospital
- 1973 - Obtained his fellowship (special haematology)
- 1974 - Joined QML Pathology and is now the longest serving Pathologist in the organisation
- 1975 - Became a partner of QML Pathology
- During his time at QML Pathology
- has supervised the operation of the haematology, blood bank serology and cytogenetic services
- spent a period as Medical Director
- held a variety of positions including visiting laboratory Haematologist to Brisbane Hospitals, and has served on a number of blood transfusion advisory committees
- Currently works part time in the QML Pathology Haematology Department and is the Medical Supervisor of the Stat Laboratories in Brisbane and Logan and the Regional Laboratory of Kingaroy
