Warfarin Support Group

When a patient is put on Warfarin, Medical Practitioners will often request that QML Pathology assist in controlling this patient's ongoing dosage requirements. This service is performed free of charge by QML Pathology to ensure patients maintain their Warfarin dosage at a safe level.

The QML Pathology support group consists of Pathologists, call centre staff and a patient educator. All these individuals combine to evaluate your INR Blood Test and ensure you are aware and comfortable with the dosage level and process. In order to streamline the procedure we have a number of processes in place regarding when you must have your blood test and when you will be contacted by one of our staff members.
