1987 - Graduated from The University of Queensland
1995 - Completed his FRACP (Paediatrics) after training in paediatrics at the Royal Children's Hospital
1997 - Completed his training in Clinical Genetics at Sydney Children's Hospital after originally training with the Queensland Clinical Genetics Service
1998 - Research Fellowship at the Prince of Wales Hereditary Cancer Clinic
1999 - Awarded the inaugural RCH Foundation Travelling Fellowship to work at the Hospital for Sick Children, Canada
2000 - Returned to Australia to take up the post of Director of Paediatrics at Logan Hospital
2003 - Awarded a Churchill Fellowship to study paediatric health care
Currently works with the QML Pathology Genetics Team to provide clinical input and guide clinicians in the accessing and interpreting of genetic results
