1985 - Graduated from The University of Queensland
1989 - 1990 - Practiced as a GP in Beenleigh and Chermside before returning to the hospital system to complete his pathology training
Trained in haematology at the Royal Brisbane Hospital, Greenslopes Repatriation Hospital, and the Australian Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service, before obtaining his fellowship
1996 - Commenced as a haematologist with QML Pathology and is currently Pathologist in Charge of Haematology
Also acted as Visiting Consultant Haematologist to the ARCBS (1996-1997) and the Mater Hospital (1996-present)
Special Interests: coagulation disorders, iron disorders, non-malignant haematology, the use of expert systems in diagnostic medicine
